Welcome to Table Mountain Metropolitan District
In Colorado, special districts are local governments just as cities and counties are considered local governments. Special districts are formed to provide services that are not otherwise provided by a municipality or county. The Table Mountain Metropolitan District was established by the community developer to fund the infrastructure of this community and to oversee the ongoing maintenance of the common spaces in our neighborhood. Common spaces include all landscaped and undeveloped land in the community outside the 3-rail fencing, excluding the pool. The District collects tax revenues from a special mill levy accessed on every property within its boundaries. At this time the bulk of the revenue collected is designated for debt repayment.
The Table Mountain Metropolitan District is governed by a 5-person board which manages the day-to-day operations of our neighborhood. The Board oversees the budget, manages the maintenance and improvement of all common spaces excluding the pool area, approves Design Review Requests and partners with our attorney, accountant and management company to ensure the best interests of our community are being met. In addition, we also oversee, liaise and advocate for the neighborhood on larger scale projects operated within our boundaries by outside contractors (such as the Denver Water Pipeline Project).
There is also a homeowners association known as Gardens at Table Mountain Homeowners Association, Inc., which is a Colorado non-profit corporation and is a separate and distinct entity from the District. The Association is initially responsible for maintaining the pool and pool house and trash pick-up for all of the Lots. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for additional information.
